What was the inspiration for your Health Oracle?
So many tarot and oracle readings today are highly concentrated on love, money, and career but completely neglect personal health. If your body is healthy, balanced, and in a harmonized state of being you are in a place of being able to enjoy the other aspects of life. While some tarot cards hint at health aspect there is currently nothing that zeros in on it at a deeper level.
In my personal life I experienced an accident that changed my whole trajectory. After almost having lost my life and spending 8 years of surgeries and physical therapy I became highly attuned to the state of my body and physical health. During this journey I learned how much physical health is also tied to emotional and spiritual health. In February of 2018 I felt a calling to fill the gap in the tarot community to help bring awareness to health. After researching what was available I quickly identified a need for this new Health Oracle deck. Can you tell us a little about the creative process?
First was a brainstorming session of what should be included. What are the contributing factors to health and well being? After a lot of research and lots of thought I was able to break it down into several sections.
* The physical systems of the body
* The Vitamins & Minerals
* The Chakra system (the energy bodies)
* The Planetary Influences
* The Elementals (external factors and influences)
Next was how to convey these factors into a pictorial manner. Each aspect of this deck has been carefully designed to evoke connections in your subconscious. What are the use cases?
These were designed to be used on a daily or weekly basis to remind us of the ways we can become healthier. Our bodies are temples and should be treated as such. Another function of this deck is to be used as a clarifier for other general reading when health and wellness come out the Health Oracle can be used to get more specific information.Above all these cards must be used responsibly.
This Health Oracle IS designed to bring a higher level of awareness surrounding physical, emotional, and spiritual health. It is a tool to bring ideas and elements to your consciousness.
